On the site you can find advice and thoughts plus you can download a white paper on the subject entitled, The Emerging Global Pandemic: Human Resource Implications, which employers concerned about avian flu will find useful.
A fascinating read but it feels a bit like how a rabbit must feel when it's staring at those fast approaching headlights ... not that he knows until the car hits him ... which is one of the main points of the piece.
Only read it if you're of a happy disposition as it's gonna drag you down and don't even think about it if you're raising or bringing children into the world. Errr :-(

The real clincher though is the Jevons paradox which effectively means that the more fuel efficient you try to become the more fuel used - basically, you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't.
