It is websites like these that demonstrate that the web is immediately informative.
I started to surf the internet in June '97 and Yahoo! was probably the first page I hit.
As you may or may not know I have been tinkering with a personal blog for the last couple of months.
One of the most interesting features I have come across is the newsreader and how effective it is to use one of these to pull information to you the surfer rather than having to go and get it yourself.
I am using the beta of the FeedDemon news reader as I particularly like the auto-feed capture, and a few more are mentioned in this article above.
This subject has a great relevance, particularly in providing the reader/visitor with regular news and information.
We went to visit our friends Gordy and Sophie at The Goat Shed in Moulin, Savoie.
We all had a fantastic time and I am still missing the place a week and and a half later.
I'll just have to go again then, won't I!

I have been selected as a beta tester by Six Apart for their new product called TypePad. As you can see this product is a very automated version of their successful Movable Type cms.
So, to put this to the test I am going to use it to record our recent trip to the Alps. I also intend to set it up as the point of record for our new Book Club and the tomes that we read.
